The Re-Skill Saskatchewan Training Subsidy provides businesses with the financial support to train employees as the province emerges from the pandemic and economic recovery. This program supports eligible Saskatchewan employers to access financial support from employer-driven, short-term training programs for their employees.

The objective of this program is to support the challenges brought on by COVID-19. The program will provide training support to ensure employers are able to access training to sustain business activities while stimulating competitiveness. It will also reduce obstacles to hiring, retraining and retaining workers to boost the province's economic recovery.
Each business is eligible for up to $5,000 in subsidies for the year of training.
Training must be delivered by a Saskatchewan-based third party and the training must be a minimum of 8 hours in length and completed within 4 months. Training must also result in a certificate of completion. Employers must be private and not-for-profit.
We will offer assistance to complete the application if you choose to prioritize applying for it. Please note that the applications must be completed prior to training start dates.
